All equipment is built in accordance with the latest SIR, PED, ASME, DOT 407/412, ADR (Ceoc) and/or ATEX (Ex) standards and all applicable environmental and safety requirements. KOKS can offer you even more by adding safety features of the highest level to the equipment.

Safety features that we have already applied to allow safe use of industrial cleaning equipment:


Liquid ring vacuum pump or ATEX certified pump sytems with flame extinguishers for suctioning work involving liquids, making it possible to safely handle liquids with a very low flash point (only for pressure/vacuum trucks).

• Emergency stop on the truck.
• Hinged discharge pipe (only for pressure/vacuum trucks for liquids).
• Clear signal that indicates when the hinged discharge pipe is raised.
• Safety valve with a bottom-mounted burst disk.
• Hydraulically operated clamps of the hinged rear door.
• Clear alarm signal that warns the driver not to pull away when the tank is in the tipped position.
• Remote emergency stop.
• Safety interlock on the (hydraulic) rear door locking system, which prevents initiation of suctioning/discharging activities until the clamps have been closed.
• Catwalk for safe access to the tank.
• Safety interlock on the (hydraulic) rear door locking system, which only allows the rear door to be opened if the pressure/vacuum tank has been fully filled with air or evacuated.
• Clear signal that indicates non-activation of the rear door clamps when the pressure/vacuum truck is about to start moving.
• Type plate detailing the technical specifications.
• Operating instructions.
• Two-hand control for both the rear door and the clamps.
• Control for closing the rear door in a position that allows the operator to see the complete rear part of the pressure/vacuum truck.
• Interlock (door catch) that prevents an open rear door closing in an uncontrolled manner.
• Earth monitoring unit with constant signalling.
• Green lamp on top of the pressure/vacuum truck which illuminates if earthing is satisfactory.
