High pressure equipment can be divided into two categories: rinsing water installations and high-pressure installations
High pressure material
High-pressure material
High-pressure equipment can be divided into two categories: Rinsing water installations with a working pressure of 25 to 250 bar, and high-pressure installations with an operating pressure higher than 250 bar.
Rinsing water installations
Rinsing water installations are often used in combination with a pressure/vacuum truck or unit. An example of such a combi-vehicle is the KOKS EcoVac Combi.
High-pressure installations
High-pressure installations are often combined with a hot water installation, such as the KOKS high-pressure hot water unit.

Operation of a high-pressure installation
A high-pressure installation works in accordance with the principle of an equivalent volume flow of liquid delivery, which is generated by the high-pressure pump. The high-pressure pump receives water from the pre-pressure pump, which is also known as a centrifugal pump.
Main components of a high-pressure installation
- Frame and tanks (diesel and water tank)
- Pumps and drivetrain (high-pressure pump, pre-pressure pump, compressor and diesel engine)
- Various control and operating systems (pneumatic, hydraulic electrical and mechanical)
- Various safety devices (Ex-i, overpressure protection, safety valve, rupture disk, emergency stop, etc.)
Types of high-pressure installations
High-pressure installations that operate in accordance with this principle are the KOKS high-pressure hot water unit, KOKS hot water unit, KOKS high-pressure hot water trailer, KOKS high-pressure container and KOKS EcoVac Combi.
