The KOKS SAKAL‑robot was originally designed for handling and removal of pollution from hazardous and contaminated storage and drain tanks in non‑ATEX zones at the site of nuclear power plants, where human access is necessarily restricted due to the radiation levels present. Nowadays the SAKAL‑robot is designed for more applications such as cleaning wastewater systems, sewers, drainage pools, industrial tanks and ponds in non‑ATEX zones at, for example, copper, aluminum and zinc plants. The SAKAL‑robot is designed for long‑term use under severe conditions in tanks and various other types of confined spaces in submerged conditions.
In addition, the KOKS SAKAL‑robot is a proven design for heavy and hazardous industrial applications and is suitable for cleaning areas such as underground tanks or collection basins in non‑ATEX zones with restricted human access.

Usage
The KOKS SAKAL‑robot enables its user to clean in non‑ATEX zones at environments where human access is undesirable. These situations include cleaning contaminated storage and drain tanks, wastewater basins filled with accumulated sewage sludge and debris, cleaning at sewage treatment plants, and cleaning tanks or drainage pools at industrial plants filled with contaminated liquids or sludges.
The advantages for health, safety and the environment, as well as an improvement of the cleaning quality, are undeniable. This is only a selection of the wide variety of industries in which the SAKAL‑robot can increase safety by eliminating personnel from hazardous environments.
Characteristics
The SAKAL‑robot can be controlled by the operator with both the standalone power pack (SAPP and SAPP PRO) or the transportable ventilated cabin (TVC). Furthermore, it is available in a built‑in version such as a van or trailer.
The application of different types of suction heads, combined with its own electric submersible pump, makes the SAKAL‑robot very versatile and efficient. The user benefits from significant time savings and a huge reduction in cost.
Versions
The KOKS SAKAL‑robot can be equipped with various suction heads which match your needs and/or (industrial) applications.
